Exciting Edgy Episodes

Finally some really good TV viewing. I am totally engrossed with LOST and ROME. Tomorrow night the BBC starts their series of Robin Hood. Looks very interesting and entertaining. I am still hooked on CSI and CSI Miami. Of course I also watch Survivor and Amazing Race. I don't watch any talk shows. I have never liked them at all nor the host themselves. The History Channel, National Geographic , TLC are great too. I very much enjoy SCIFI channel. If you haven't seen Rome go rent the episodes. It is not for kids though. Rome is very much for adult viewing. if you have a high schooler it could come in handy learning about the wars, Greek and Romans too.
I have tried to watch the new shows on HGTV and DIY but most are lacking any creativity or fun. B.Original is pretty good as are the Carol Duvall reruns and Scrapbooking reruns. Thats my weekly review of what I thought was fair watching this week.

Blueberry Crumb Coffee Cake

Yet again, I have found another wonderful unhealthy product. It absolutely melts in your mouth. No funky box cake taste and real blueberries. Why would I promote such an item? Well we all have our little self-indulgences and mine happens to be anything made with flour. It is just the right size to have with coffee. I ate mine in a day. I could not stop once I started so skipped breakfast and lunch just for it. Hit your local Wal-Mart in the Bakery area. You might get lucky and get it as day old for 2.00 like I did by the deli. Still as fresh and it might even be better a day old. I only bought one just in case it was crappy. The last thing my daughter said before leaving this morning was to go get another. I can't as my bread basket is starting to overflow as is. I did notice it said 200 calories per slice. I have no clue what they consider a slice. I just eyed it and ate the WHOLE thing. Today I am spending the day cleaning and dancing to work it back off. Hummm wonder how much I need to do to burn all that? My only upside to my over indulging is I had a few servings of fruit for the day. hahahahaha

My Music

Just had this little article about me in our local Entertainment magazine. (Thanks Jake Grove)I have always had a unique taste in music. The worst part of doing this little list was the fact I could ONLY have 10 groups.

Living in a smaller town I have been ridiculed, laughed at and scoffed for my fabuous listening sounds. Quite frankly I have always taken pride in the fact I am a FREE SPIRIT, FREE WILLED and a FREE THINKING WOMAN.
Anyone can be a ROBOTS 'R' US human!
Now for more listening pleasure, here are more of my favs.

Staying Awake

Sometimes I really hate the change in time. Getting up to daytime is great but jeez the sun is gone by 6pm. One has to be super creative to keep the juices going and the eyeballs open. Turning on every light in the house, lighting candles in the darker areas or uplighting to feel like it is not time for bed. Every year I have the hardest time adjusting to this. The older I get the more I want to just go on to bed. How people in Alaska can deal with the dark days. I guess it is something you get used to. I know I could not up and move there at my age. Oh and then they have those nonstop light days.

I am still working like a mad woman making Christmas and other holiday items. Everything I own is covered in fine dust particles of wool. That stuff is like attic insulation on the skin after awhile. I wonder why it is so itchy. Sheep don't seem to scratch or be bothered by it now do they? When you touch their fur it is soft and doesn't feel scratchy.

Looking like the Holidays

It is that time of year when Artist & Crafters are working in full force making holiday items. I actually make mine year round but when it is cold outside the urge to do more hits me. I become a robotic machine in fast motion. When I hand sew your would swear someone sped up the machine. I become the Energizer Bunny but in a creepy way. Running in circles, needles flying everywhere and thread wrapping around the house. Frantically gluing and trying not to sniff it along the way. So catch my new items on Ebay at the link on the right. You might find something you could use.
