Making Room for New Arts & Crafts

I have always dreamed of a wonderful studio. After 2 weeks of hard work, I have one. There is something to be said about cleaning a craft room out. There are alot of tedious things that have to be done. Sorting through 1000's of buttons being one of them. Labeling every box. Folding fabric and rolling up ribbons. Then I got the great idea to sell all the finished items on Ebay and start anew. If you would like to see the items my Ebay ID is willowmoonmarket on the links to the right.
It is amazing how uplifting and free it feels to have a beautiful new room. No more excuses for an artistic slump now. I am ready to create and excited that I can actually FIND everything.
Anyone up for bets just how long this room will be organized and clean?

Thunder & Lightening

After weeks and weeks of no rain finally it came today. Serious stuff but so welcome. I managed to design a few new items for my catalog and Ebay. It is so hard to work listening to the rain and thunder. After a couple of hours I decided to give in and take a long siesta. Slept like a baby.
Of course this morning I got a big cup of coffee and my Maria Tea Biscuits. I ate a whole pack. Worth every bite too. I am still in a happy place on that find.
Tomorrow is wedding day. My sons close friend is marrying and he is a groomsman so he came home for the weekend. It is an evening wedding of dress up. I did manage to find something pretty cool and different to wear.
Strangely enough we had a funeral today too. One life starts, One life ends, and the cycle begins again.

The Hunt for Tea Biscuits

I love a good tea biscuit. They have to be perfect. The right amount of sugar and crisp. I found great ones on a flight a couple years ago. Just right. I searched every store high and low, none to be found. Of course, you can buy them by the CASE on the internet but where is the fun in that. Today on a freak trip to the Dollar General I went through the spanish aisle they have. Lo and Behold I saw a box of Maria Tea Biscuits. They looked pretty good and 140 count for 1.25 how could I go wrong? If they tasted crappy, I could feed them to the birds. I hurried home in the 100 degree heat excited to take that first bite. I opened the box and took a sniff.....yeah....they smelled good. The FIRST bite OMG this is IT. So my Tea biscuit adventure has been fulfilled. I ate 25 and now I am ready for that cup of coffee in the morning with my biscuits!
